Blueberry released date announced
Publisher Hidden Trap announces the upcoming launch of Blueberry (by MELLOW Games) on Steam, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 on May 28th–and arriving to Nintendo Switch in June 2026.
From the co-creator of Orwell and partnering with Xbox comes Blueberry, a story-driven puzzle platformer that will immerse us in the mental world of a woman whose life has been marked by trauma.
Through four different stages of her life (child, teenager, adult and elderly), players will relive the key memories that shaped her, related to self-esteem, self-discovery, love, forgiveness, and her relationships... But also bravely deepening into socially taboo themes such as mental health, depression, addiction, and loss.
Climb the Tower of Life, live through Blueberry's key memories and revisit the past to help her get new perspectives and change her outlook on the future.
Help Blueberry make important decisions about how to treat herself and her loved ones.
Will she be able to make peace with her past demons or will she continue to carry the burden of guilt?
Manage Blueberry's "blues" by choosing her responses and actions, or doing things she loves: petting cats, drinking her favorite juice…
The game won the Unity Award for Social Impact in 2025 in recognition of games that made positive contributions to social change thanks to its close and human approach to mental health and family relationships.
Blueberry will launch with a 20% discount on Steam and Xbox, active until June 10th.
